Recognizing Military Service Members and Veterans

Our client is a proud supporter of military service members and veterans through employment, community outreach and customer initiatives.

CHALLENGE

Our client, a top wireless carrier in the U.S., is an annual sponsor of the Veterans Day Parade in New York. MotivAction was contracted to manage this client’s Veterans Day event by organizing employees nominated to march in the Veterans Day parade through their Veteran’s and Allies Network.

THE SOLUTION

MotivAction secured the Westin Times Square (NY, NY) on November 8-12, 2018 to serve as “base camp” for the Veterans Day event. We helped create a program that managed employee travel plus guest, a cash allowance for meals, transportation and luggage fees, and merchandise for the event. We created a unique Welcome Reception on arrival day, organized marchers for the parade, and delivered a winning post Parade Celebration at the renowned Carmine’s restaurant in Times Square.

BY THE NUMBERS

  • 20 staff and Executives
  • 53 local marchers
  • 55 winning veteran nominees
  • 63 guests
  • Tens of thousands of parade watchers witnessed our client’s commitment to military service members and veterans
